Customize a football with photos- How to add pictures to a football

Are you searching for the best way to add a photo or photos to a football? Learn now to add a photo to a football panel with me!

My little cousin is a SENIOR this year, and since I craft a lot of different stuff I have been helping my aunt and her fellow senior moms do some pretty cool senior gifts! We have made a couple of these now, but since I am not perfect these are just for gifts. However, If you perfect these Etsy has them for on the upwards of $50-$60!

I am an Amazon Affiliate and I can earn commissions on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you! You will also find links to my Tik tok Shop as well! When you click the highlighted and underlined words it will take you right to the items mentioned!

The Materials you will need (or want): (You can watch this tik tok to see it more in depth)

1) Autograph footballs- This one in particular is a size 9- This is a set of three and includes the stands for display! You will want more than one becasue if you have never crafted you want to have more than one chance to perfect it!

2) I Highly Suggest this printable HTV I got from tik tok shop, If you click here it will take you right to this video- Just Click Comment button, Orange cart, and Snag ASAP!

3) I am using this heat gun in my videos--

4) An Exacto knife for a little carving and trimming! This is the one you can see me using in my videos.

5) The printer I use is my handy dandy Epson 2800

6) A design software like Canva

7) Scissors

9) Heat tape

Please note these are the directions for a White panel-- I guess you can use brown, But I didn't use one of those to show you that.

First you will want to collect some images. I just had my aunt send me a front facing, and a few action photos of her football player. Design is a whole other art, and if you would just like me to design and send you the file you can do that here! This will come in the shape of a football panel, You just need to adjust it to your football size.

You will want to draw the outline of your ball over the image in canva so you have a nice cut mark to put the piece on your football! Can't seem to find a good outline to use?  You can get my digital download in the near future I just need to clean it up! Remember to Measure your football panel so you can resize it over your design.

You Will Then, Print it on the printable HTV, and cut it out! So, Cut as close to the inside of the football as much as you can! I am adding more videos soon.

Now, You will tape the image on with your heat tape right at the seams and blast it with short bursts of heat to make the HTV stick. After that you will GENTLY, carve your image around the seams.

Blast a little more heat on the seams to seal, and then seal ALL OVER with mod podge.  You can watch me apply that here on this little tik tok!

This is my VERY FIRST one and it is ROUGH! Be sure to follow up and see BETTER ones.
