How to throw a Boo Basket Party

You’ve Been Booed! Boo Basket Party I held at my shop I thought would be a fabulous blog idea since I haven't seen much about it!

You can Create cute Boo Buckets in minutes! Follow my step-by-step guide for a fun and easy DIY Halloween activitie to do with your friends! This is perfect for kids, office gatherings, parties to have at your store front, or even just a family party!

First, You will want to make the event on fakebook or wherever you connect with your friends. I did Facebook, and the response was AWESOME!

Originally, We were going to do it white elephant style, but I decided after the huge response, we would do numbers. You can find my 8.5x11 sheet of ghosts right here already numbered for ya!

You will need two sets of the numbers! One to put on each basket, and one to put in a basket or bag to draw later.

Once all of the baskets are set up, each participant can go snag their basket that matches their ghost number!

We Set up this designated area for all of the baskets:

So, Party started at 4 but we just asked that everyone had their basket to me by 5pm! I

At 5pm, We took the bag with the second set of numbers in it and we took turns picking a number. Whatever number you chose, was the basket you got! While everyone mingled, they ate snacks we provided! You can be as festive as my mom with her Halloween themed bowls, or as basic as me by just ordered a few pizzas!

Now that you kind of know how to throw a boo basket party- What goes into a basket?

A boo basket is literally made up of ANYTHING. It can be as expensive as you want, or you can do like us and set a limit. I think $25-$35 was a great range and affordable for everyone! Here are a few packaging ideas:

The joy comes from the surprise and the festive spirit- It really doesn't matter the cost! Here are SEVERAL items you can use and put your own spin on it!!

PACKAGING a boo basket:

A Halloween gift bag- You can use an inexpensive bag!

A Halloween treat bowl-

Or, even a cute Halloween tote!

Now, What goes inside a boo basket?! Anything goes but it is MUCH cuter when you can make it all spooky themed! Here is a list of what I thought was cute or popular at our little party:

BLANKETS! Yes, A little themed throw, I definitely added one to mine. This orange and black 50*60 is perfect, and so cute and comfy!

Socks! Socks are great because you don't really need anyone's size to get a pair of socks. Plus, they are a cute inexpensive addition to your gift basket!

Candles, There are several ideas on Amazon, Like this "rest Your bones" candle! or, This candle in particular is by Pittman Candle Co! You can find available candles right here!

Another Great cheap but functional filler is Jewelry! My favorite is this stackable Halloween beaded bracelet

Really, ANY comfort item, but Slippers are also a good OS fits all since they come in size ranges.

You can also fill it with room sprays, candy, Halloween cards, maybe even home decor for Halloween like these cute trick or treat signs!

This was my first time throwing one of these but I hope this information is valuable to you!
