Girls Bedroom Ideas and Things to make it a girls dream!

Girls Bedroom Ideas and Things to make it a girls dream!

When we moved this year, one of my top priorities was designing the kids' bedrooms in a way that felt personalized and special. I wanted to surprise them with something unique, girly, and full of charm. Since we’re in a farmhouse, I leaned into a chic farmhouse aesthetic while blending my love for boho decor. I incorporated neutral tones, soft blush pinks, sage greens, and eucalyptus greenery to create a cozy and stylish space. If you're looking for farmhouse bedroom ideas, boho girl room decor, or neutral kids' room inspiration, this setup is perfect!

Little Girls Bedroom Decor

When infusing the farmhouse style into a girl’s bedroom, it is important to consider bringing the outdoors in. Other key elements of traditional farmhouse design included natural textures, shiplap walls, nostalgic prints, country and cottage details, natural wood accents, oversized furniture, and casual bedding-- So, I used pallets for head boards!

Using reclaimed pallets, my husband secured them to the walls to create unique headboards. To complete the look, I added eucalyptus garland from this link—each headboard needed 1-3 strands!

The goal was to create a space that suits each child's individuality and is attractive, comfortable, and flexible enough to grow with the girls.. That way, I wouldn't have to redecorate for awhile. Overall, the soft pink combined with neutral details feels perfectly childish but is still a space they can grow into for years.

DIY Room Signs!

I created these custom circle signs using wood rounds from Amazon, stain, and Direct to Film (DTF) transfers! It was such a simple DIY project, and I’ll be sharing a full tutorial on the blog soon. Each girl absolutely loved their personalized bedroom decor!

Obviously, You can go to Etsy and check out all the options but this was super special as It was a gift from their mom that she made!

Bedding and Blanket Ideas!

Each of the girls has the same bedding set! I found a 6-piece tufted bed-in-a-bag twin comforter set on Amazon in a beautiful blush pink. It was the perfect touch for my neutral boho-themed room, where I wanted to incorporate plenty of pink, sage, beige, and brown tones. You can see the different sizes and color options in the bedding I chose when you click here for the Amazon link.
