I was struggling with the UGLY cement basement looking wall, and My mom (Tracy's Trendy Decor) had this awesome idea-- WALL PAPER that looks like Shiplap or a Nice wood wall! Here is a nice before photo:
I knew I wanted to create a really neutral background since I can have some BUSY props sometimes- So I went with Abyssaly White Gray Wood Paper Self-Adhesive Removable 17.71 in X 217 in Wood Peel and Stick Wallpaper
It came in a big Roll (I got the BIG one), and You just literally peel the backing, and apply.
It took me about an hour, and there are still some ripples but this isn't a smooth wall! It is cement brick, and poorly painted over that.
After I was Done applying, I added my panel grass wall, They come in a pack of 12 10 inch panels-- This small wall took two pannels.
I secured my Greenery Wall with Alien Tape-- Go ahead and get a triple pack because you will LOVE it if you are like me and not great with drill or hammer/nails.
Now, After you do all of that, one of those Neon signs are an AWESOME addition, and you can get them custom or you can just choose one that is already done like I did with It was All a dream
The other thing I added today were these burlap curtains! (I am gonna have to pull out the steamer on those!)
I also used these adorable little boho tie backs! They are inexpensive and magnetic! I used a Command hook on each side to help me in the process of "tying back"
Now, I know these things are VERY beginner, and Very Amateur-- But it went a long way in helping me feel a little more put together, and I thought it might help someone else!
