What to Pack for a Great Day at the Water Park

What to Pack for a Great Day at the Water Park

Join us as we embark on an exciting adventure to Zoombezi Bay to celebrate Gemma's 9th birthday! I am all about learning to work smarter not harder! I want to help you do this cheaper and ensure you have everything you need for an unforgettable day. Don't miss out on making the most of your visit by following these tips and preparing ahead of time.

First Off, I am a light packer-- But Sometimes that leads me to have to buy things when I get to my destination or go without! The "in my 30s era" finally has me maturing a little. Not to mention, we all need to save money!

We have 4 Children-- Ages 13,10, 9, and 5. We find the best duration at the pool or water park is 2-4 hours which is why we chose to save the dollars and go after 4pm! The tickets after 4 pm are $19.99 a person (As of 8.10.24)!

Everything I packed fit inside of This bag!

Now, Obviously you will bring your swimsuit! But here is my List!

Sun Bum Face Stick for kids- Great for the whole family but my daughter with some sensory issues cannot tolerate the spray or lotions to the face!

My other favorite sunscreen to take for my sensitive skin kids and I is anything by Neutrogena!

You should also bring something to store wet clothes in for the ride home! So this means a bring a dry outfit as no one wants to ride in a car wet if its a lengthy trip home! You can use bags like these Or just a normal grocery bag or trash bag works! But, do not forget it in the bag (Ask me how I know!)

Towels (These towels in a carrying case are cool!) and Towel Clips- You can save the dollars of course, and just bring any old towel! Kids do not care! I do not have any snazzy alternatives to the towel clips but they are inexpensive and keeps your towel secure while you roam around!

Something waterproof to hold your Phone, Money, Cigarettes? Now, If you are a little ghetto like me you can use a Plastic baggie like I have in the past-- But I have since upgraded to these!

Now, that I am little older and my 10 year old is obsessed with skincare, I always wear a hat now and so does my husband! I like this one because it has a place for my ponytail!

My Husband prefers this one by Adidas - He also wears this to mow and on vacation! The man likes his sun hats!

Another thing I get smarter about as I become a grown up--

Hygiene Products, Medications, & First Aid

Bring a small first aide kit- I swear someone always needs a bandaid. If you do not want to spend money on one, Just throw a few bandaids in a baggie!

If you have balls or fat thighs-- I have you covered. No cheaper way around these ideas though.

Money Butt Powder for the boys!  and This stick for them thunder thigh gals-

Oh, and Refillable water bottles! We do Different colors for each kid in these!! The camelback cups are the best to me and they can use them at school!!

Note: If you have a cricut or cameo you can personalize with a name!

I also recommend packing these for hydration! You have no idea how much hydration can play an important role in no melt downs or fits from both parents and kids! Liquid IV is the best tasting to me!
