Tee shirt Bar Tips!

Tee shirt Bar Tips!

I have survived vendor shows operating out of my home and in a brick and mortar. Here I have put together by best storage tips to keep your stuff in great shape and easy to get to-- As it pertains to making graphic tees! I will show you how to set up a graphic tee bar (well, At least How I do it)

My top storage ideas for Tee shirt bars (Watch how I travel with one when you watch this tik tok)

Let's start with shirt storage! My assistant rolls these up and we store by size. If you are in a brick and Mortar store, your customers and easily see what colors you have available and the size. We used these exact unfinished crates! We used these clothing tags to just label the size slot. If I am traveling we pack them by size in these clothes compartment organizers. They do hold a LOT.

(Remember, You can click the highlighted and underlined- It will take you right to my material)

Now, If you press shirts on demand, you likely use Screen prints or sublimation transfers-- The BEST way to organize these when you have thousands is my number system. For this set up I used these wire storage cubes, Zip ties, and something to label the numbered slots like these post it note labels

Now, In store and at shows, I have a corresponding picture book. For this I used a three ring binder, and page protectors.... and, when I started this I already had thousands-- So A ton of patience.

One of the pages looks like this to be specific, except, I number them- For instance if I put #1 on these images, I would know I could find the screen print in "slot one" See photo of my rack above. I had so many I ended up with 75 slots and they have anything from 1-4 designs in each slot.

So, I am aware that you cannot always haul that huge rack everywhere, So, you just choose 15-25 of your designs in a book- and number the slots in a file box

Another thing I use in store and at vendor shows is a name kit, and it is best organized in these little storage drawers organized by letter! This is also cool if you do hat patches as it stores them nicely as well as organizes them.

Obviously, you will not have SOMETHING for everyone, but you can definitely bring order forms!  This is the exact one I print out and take!

Basically, they will look through your book, Choose a design, and then you can show them their shirt options in their size!

If you end up with a "que" while you are at your event-- I just use these exact trays - Take the order (Have them pay so you don't waste your material) Put the shirt, print, name/tag reciept, and take their phone number so you can text them and tell them you are ready (Or call!)

Also, Bring a set of T-shirt Aligners with ya you can find on my tik tok when you click here
