Surviving the Elements: Tips and Tricks for Enduring Lengthy Vendor Events in Any Weather

It is that time of year where we see craft show opportunities popping up left and right before the holidays. Craft fairs are a wonderful thing to be a part of when you have the right tools to be successful.
I do my local festival every year, BUT, i decided to sign up for an extra few with a friend this year, and this is what I found to be helpful! You can check out everything I packed NOT related to inventory right here on tik tok I brought a suitcase!
Now, We decided if you plan on always having the 20 foot space, You Need this canopy to avoid the rain leakage in case of rain!
- Additional things you will need for your 2 10 foot canopies include: CLEAR shower curtains (Pack about 8-10), Shower Hooks , These Clips , and we found these clamps to be very helpful!
As you can see we used cinder blocks but, I am actually going to use these canopy weights the next time!!!!

2) This Four foot table to make a little Checkout area! You should also bring a Cash box, Bags of different sizes , Pens and Business cards! You can also use another 4 ft table and make small cute displays!! 
3) If you do custom orders- I highly recommend making your own custom order sheets- Or you can snag these receipt books cheaply!
4) LIGHTING! Really any lighting, but the best are lights that can hang off of your canopy lightly and create a great shopping experience when the sun goes down!
- I also got these little lights that are battery operated. It really helped this display I had and they operate with triple A batteries, and Touch to turn off and on!
5) Bug Zapper! This one is cordless! I would suggest two in a 20x20 tent.
Now, that I have shown you the things to keep you dry and making money-- Let's talk DISPLAY things you can pack!
6) Trash bags! You need to be sure you keep your area clean! Make sure you are leaving it in the same or better condition than when you sat up.. Here are some low cost Portable Trash cans you can bring with you easily!
7) A good cooler! You can save money at multi day vendor events by packing snacks and drinks!
1) Foldable 6 foot tables and the Table cloths! I recommend these table cloths because they do not blow away!
2) Crates! You really need to create height. This helps catch a persons eye! The ones that I often use are 18 inches. You can use these to display your Tee shirts, Hats, and more!
I also recommend these hooks to hang jewelry off of!
I would also recommend these clips!!! These would be perfect for displaying anything really.
3) I also HIGHLY suggest Dress forms or Mannequins to display your best selling shirts! You can put them on tables, or beside. They create perfect height no matter what!
4) Blanket Ladders! They are a great way to display all kinds of products!
HOOK DISPLAYS!!! THESE are perfect for table displays.
5)PLENTY of product. You will make the most money if people can buy it and haul it off right then and there!
6) Consider what method of payments you will accept and get that set up beforehand. For me its cash, Square, Cash App, Venmo, Or Zelle.
